Final Exam and Homework 4 Information

My email address:  pwright@cuesta.edu

You can send me your submissions via either Canvas or directly by email.

How to submit your work:
If you don't have access to a regular scanner (some printers will also work as scanners), you'll need to use your phone as a scanner.

There are many scanning apps available but I've had good luck with the free Adobe Scanner App.  Here's the link for that:  https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/mobile/scanner-app.html

After you open the app, you take a picture with your phone as usual, then the app will convert the picture, or a series of pictures, into a single pdf which you can then send to me.

Make sure the pictures are in portrait (upright) form, not landscape (sideways) form.

Let me know if you have troubles with this...you have a week to practice, so you could send me, yourself, or some other guinea pig :) a scan to see how it works!

Homework submission instructions...due on Thursday, 5/21, by midnight.

1.  Fill in and then scan the homework cover page, and send that to me.

2.  Send me the link to your Google Doc (click "Share" then fill in my email address) that has all of your StatCrunch work from the homework.

3.  If you've done the extra credit ANOVA sections (Chapter 11), include the StatCrunch parts with the rest of your homework, and fill in the number of completed problems on your homework cover page, as usual.

Final Exam instructions...due on Thursday, 5/21, by midnight.

1.  Print out the exam (see below* if you don't have access to a printer).

2.  Fill in your answers to the questions.  You do not have to copy and paste the StatCrunch work, just fill in the StatCrunch results where requested on the exam.

3. Scan your test with your phone and send the pdf to me.  Please, NO sideways pictures...fix it in the scanner app before you make it into a pdf and send it!

4.  You are welcome to discuss problems with other students and/or ask tutors/others to help you with the concepts, but I'm putting you on your honor to neither copy someone else's work nor let them copy yours.

Here is the Final Exam.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all...it helps everyone when folks ask questions so I know what needs to be clarified.

*No printer?  Here's the work-around:

If you don't have access to a printer but can write on  a Word Doc on your laptop, send me a message and I'll send you the Word file for the test.

If neither are an option for you (printer or writing on laptop) then you can submit an answer sheet where you write just the number of the problem and the letter of the section, then write your answer, and submit that.

You do not need to recopy all the test questions by hand!  Save yourself some work... :)
