Final Exam

Final Exam Information

The final exam is comprehensive but about half of the points are for the material we've covered since Spring Break.

I kept the point value at 125 points so there would be no surprises (so as not to compound the major surprise of having a pandemic disrupt the entire world).

The final exam percent score replaces your lowest test score, so if you had a tough time with the last test or any of the others, you'll have an opportunity to make that up.

I tried to design the test to be instructional as well as an assessment, with the hope that you'll make some deeper connections.  With that in mind, there are some extra credit problems that are meant to be as much of an "ah ha" experience as a point booster.

Here are the rules:

1. Final is due on Tuesday 5/19/2020 by midnight

2.  Print out the exam, fill in your solutions, then scan your pages with your phone and send the scan to me via email (pwright@cuesta.edu) or via Canvas.  I want the test returned as a pdf, and please, NO sideways pictures...fix it in the scanner app!

IMPORTANT:  Save your pdf as "Final Exam: Your Name". This will help me with keeping the files organized so I can more easily send the results back to you.

3.  If you don't have access to a printer, you'll have to copy the problems down by hand then proceed as above.

4.  You are welcome to discuss problems with other students and/or ask tutors/others to help you with the concepts, but I'm putting you on your honor to neither copy someone else's work nor let them copy yours.
